Why now

Every week without a system is money out the door

Most mid-market companies running temp labor at scale have no system at all. Just agencies, spreadsheets and guesswork.

The old way

  • ×10 to 25 staffing agencies billing at different rates, on different schedules, to no common standard
  • ×HR and operations leaders spending hours every week chasing paperwork and reconciling invoices
  • ×No real number for Finance to budget against, and no visibility into actual markups
  • ×No way to tell which agency performs and which one does not
  • ×Enterprise software purchases that take quarters to deploy and lock you into long contracts

The SourceNow way

  • ✓One platform: every requisition, worker, invoice, compliance document and bill rate, across every location, in real time
  • ✓Inverted invoicing: the system generates invoices from approved timesheets, eliminating rate creep and invoice disputes
  • ✓Hard rate caps block over-rate submissions at the system level, with every exception logged and approved
  • ✓Implementation in 8 to 12 weeks standard, accelerated to 4 to 8 weeks with active participation
  • ✓No long-term contract, no minimum spend, no software fee

Planning and discovery

Weeks 1-2: scope confirmation, governance alignment, requirements workshops, supplier strategy and integration planning.

3

Integrations and validation

Weeks 4-5: data mapping, integration setup, testing and validation, all included at no additional cost.

Suppliers and users onboarded, end-to-end testing completed, then live. Accelerated programs reach go-live in 4 to 8 weeks.

The toolkit

Everything live from day one

A proprietary, cloud-based platform built and supported entirely by SourceNow employees. Mobile-first, with no limits on users, suppliers, requisitions or transaction volume.

1

Saaji AI agentic intelligence

Post job orders, query headcount or find spend reduction opportunities by voice or text, without building a single report.

2

Rate governance with hard caps

Rate cards by role, location and labor category with version control. Over-rate submissions are blocked at the system level; exceptions require explicit approval and are logged.

3

Inverted invoicing

The VMS generates the invoice from approved timesheets instead of accepting agency-submitted invoices. Rate creep and invoice disputes are eliminated by design.

4

Compliance automation

Requirements configured per role, with expiration monitoring and automated alerts. Workers can be hard-blocked from starting or continuing until requirements are met.

5

Timekeeping your way

Punch in via your existing HRIS time clock (primarily UKG), mobile geolocation or biometric options. Agencies get automated daily punch correction reports.

6

Real-time analytics

Live dashboards for workforce spend, vendor performance and compliance, with raw CSV export for ERP and BI ingestion.

7

Onboarding and offboarding workflows

Automated triggers, assigned owners, reminders and a full audit trail from start date through access termination and equipment return.

8

Supplier performance tracking

Score every agency on fill rate, time-to-fill, compliance accuracy, invoice accuracy and responsiveness.

One number that matters: zero

SourceNow is 100% supplier-funded. The platform fee, typically 2 to 3%, is retained from staffing agency invoices. It comes out of existing agency margin, not added on top, and bill rates are typically renegotiated downward as part of implementation.

FAQ

The questions we get most

How much does SourceNow cost?+

Nothing to you. SourceNow operates on a vendor-funded model. Our fee, typically 2 to 3%, is retained from staffing agency invoices. You pay no software license, no implementation fee, no integration fee and no ongoing support fee. In most programs, clients see a net reduction in total contingent labor spend within the first year, even after the agency fee is factored in.

The agencies pay for it? Won't they just raise my rates?+

The fee comes out of the existing margin agencies earn on your bill rates. It does not get added on top. We typically renegotiate your bill rates downward as part of implementation, so the net effect is lower total spend even after the agency fee is accounted for. The agencies that push back on this model are almost always the ones that do not want visibility into what they are charging you.

How long does implementation take?+

Standard implementation is 8 to 12 weeks. For companies with active participation and limited initial integrations, we can accelerate to go-live in 4 to 8 weeks. We have done it in four weeks for straightforward programs.

Is there a minimum spend or volume requirement?+

No minimums. We work with companies running 50 concurrent workers and $10M in annual contingent spend up through $1B programs. The model scales in both directions.

Is there a long-term contract?+

No long-term contract is required. Most clients stay because the program delivers value, not because they are locked in.

Are integrations included or do they cost extra?+

All integrations are included at no additional cost. That covers design, build, testing and ongoing maintenance, including Workday, UKG, Paylocity, ADP, Bullhorn, Oracle, QuickBooks, Power BI and Tableau. The only exception would be highly customized middleware that falls outside standard API development.
